On January 27, 2009 WPPJ DJ Sarah Powers had a very special guest play a live performance from the heart of WPPJ studios. Pittsburgh’s own Jimbo Jackson stopped by to give listeners a taste of what they could expect if they happen to catch him performing at one of the local open mic nights available throughout the city.
Jimbo Jackson is perhaps best know for his band Jimbo and the Soupbones, the group that was named “the best band in the ‘Burg” by a panel of music industry judges earlier this year.
