With summer here, all music nerds want is that perfect “summer song” that they can listen to all the time reminding them of the wonderful season. Luckily, I have not had a hard time finding the perfect song. Introducing Veronica Falls, a band full of members from now defunct bands. Based in London, the trio (sometimes they have four people) has already garnered a lot of attention. With the perfect mix of that good summer lo-fi and the Beach Boy sound, “Beachy Head” is sure to be the perfect song for a barbeque with your friends or even at the beach. Roxanne uses her “rock-n-roll” voice to her advantage, this is one song you cannot stop your foot from bouncing to. With an album out shortly, we should all look forward to what lo-fi goodness this band will produce. Unfortunately this band is still looking for a label to pick them up for a full-length album.
